Magic Mystery has been transferred to the care of Toby Edmonds after previously being trained by Liam Birchley and he is well-placed to make a winning start to his career with his new trainer. He ran well in what was a fairly strong maiden at Toowoomba last start and a repeat of that effort would make him tough to beat this afternoon.
Order Of Command showed some promise during his maiden racing campaign and he finds himself in a very winnable race at Geelong this afternoon. He has trialed nicely ahead of his return to the races and he maps to get a lovely trail into the contest with Damien Oliver in the saddle.
Kaiken doesn’t have a great winning record, but she has been building towards a victory this preparation and she gets her chance this afternoon. She was only narrowly denied last start at Geelong and the field that she takes on this afternoon is no tougher. With even luck in running, she is the horse to beat.
Found Out was outclassed at Flemington and this is a much more appropriate level for him. It has been a while between race wins, but this is the weakest race that he has contested since he broke his maiden and if he is able to produce his best form he will prove very tough to beat.
