Eminent returned to the races with a fairly soft win at the Sunshine Coast and he should take a fair amount of benefit from that performance. He is a horse that still has a fair amount of upside and he is two from two second-up. There is no reason that he can’t continue his winning ways at a nice price.
Sydney-based two-year-olds have an excellent record in the Champagne Classic and James Cummings has targeted a Brisbane Winter Racing Carnival campaign with Dynamited. He won in impressive fashion on debut in Sydney in November last year and he does look well-placed.
Marsupial has recorded two wins on the trot this preparation and he is a horse that still has a fair amount of upside. He maps to get a lovely run just behind the speed with Jim Byrne in the saddle and he has the turn-of-foot to finish over the top of his rivals late. This won’t be his last race win during his Winter campaign.
Higher Ground is a progressive horse that is still on the way up and there was plenty to like about his last start win in the Frank Packer Plate. He has the right profile for a Rough Habit Plate winner and he maps to get a nice run in transit with Glyn Schofield in the saddle. He can help favourite backers finish the day off strongly.
